Chris Norman
40 years after launching his successful career with his former band Smokie, Chris Norman returns with a brand-new solo album: Covering an incredibly wide range of influences, genres and styles, “Crossover” will be released September 2015. Born into a show business family going back two generations, it’s hardly surprising that Chris Norman fell in love with music at a very young age: Chris was only three years old when he decided to walk on stage and join the finale line up for a show in which his parents were appearing. Four years later, aged seven, he got his first guitar, and at 11, Chris started at St. Bede’s Grammar School in Bradford where he met Alan Silson and Terry Uttley– the future members of Smokie.

Michelle Plum
Michelle is a Yorkshire lass, born and bred. With Irish and Scottish roots, music is most definitely in her blood. She first took to the stage at the age of 18, playing the role of Anita in West Side Story. She loved performing but had a burning desire to sing in a band.

At the same time her friend taught her a few chords on a guitar, and she was instantly hooked! She bought a second hand acoustic guitar, taught herself some more chords and formed an acoustic pop duo with a keyboard player. The pair toured the UK, Germany and Holland for 6 years as The Accidental Tourists, playing Michelle’s own original songs and covers. In 2001 Michelle was asked to join anarchist band Chumbawamba when Lou Watts took a break. She spent 4 hugely enjoyable years as singer/keyboardist for the band, touring the UK and most of Europe including Poland, Bulgaria, Italy and Germany.

Michelle is currently also one half of PLUMHALL, a powerhouse acoustic partnership alongside husband Nick B Hall.
